The baseplate is integrated into the individual bumper design of the towed vehicle, providing a solid, durable connection between your towing vehicle and your towed vehicle (dinghy). Selected Blue Ox baseplates have removable tabs that further enhance the aesthetics. When you aren't towing, just remove the tabs to make your baseplate virtually invisible to the casual observer.
